What are the booking requirements?

Photo identification including name and address, as well as an email and phone number, are required for all bookings. The guest booking the cabin must be 25 or older.

What is the cancellation policy?

If you cancel at least 7 days before your arrival date, you receive a 50% refund less a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 7 days of arrival are non-refundable.

How many cars can we park at the cabin?

The cabin accommodates up to 3 vehicles. Please do not park on the street or in neighboring spaces within the Echota Resort.

Are pets allowed?

No, pets are not permitted at the cabin. This policy is strictly enforced and violations will result in forfeiture of your security deposit.

Is smoking allowed?

No. The cabin is strictly non-smoking indoors and on all decks and porches. Violations will result in forfeiture of your security deposit.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

Check-in is at 4:00 PM and check-out is at 10:00 AM. If you need an early check-in or late check-out, please contact us in advance and we will do our best to accommodate based on availability.

What are the hot tub rules?

No one under 18 may use the hot tub without adult supervision. No alcohol is permitted in or immediately around the hot tub. Please shower before entering and replace the cover after each use.

What does the cleaning fee cover?

The cleaning fee covers all standard post-stay cleaning — you do not need to clean before you leave. Simply take out any trash, wash any dishes, and start a load of laundry if time allows. No deep cleaning is required.

What is the maximum number of guests?

The cabin sleeps a maximum of 11 guests. This limit is strictly enforced per our rental agreement and resort policies.

Where is the nearest grocery store?

Target is 0.8 miles from the cabin and Publix is 1.2 miles away — both are a quick 2–3 minute drive. There are also several convenience stores and a Walmart Supercenter nearby.

How do we get to the cabin from I-40?

Take exit 407 from I-40 onto Winfield Dunn Parkway (TN-66) and head south. The Echota Resort entrance will be on your right. Once inside the resort, follow the signs to the cabin. Full directions and a door code will be provided after booking.

Is the cabin child friendly?

Yes! We are a family cabin and it's great for kids of all ages. That said, it is not baby-proofed — outlet covers are not guaranteed to be in place. Parents should bring any necessary safety items for infants and toddlers.

Do you have reliable WiFi internet?

Yes! The cabin was upgraded in 2022 to high-speed internet with 300 Mbps. Perfect for streaming, video conferences, Zoom, or remote desktop.

Do you have cable or satellite TV?

No cable or satellite, but the cabin has 4 smart TVs that support all major streaming services (Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, etc.). Bring your own login credentials — our TVs automatically sign out of all accounts at checkout.
