This was the perfect place for our family to stay. The in-suite bathrooms were so convenient. The play room was outstanding! All of us including kids and grandkids had a blast playing games together. The perfect location for a family vacation.
We loved our stay at the cabin! So close to so many restaurants, and easy to get to Knoxville and Dollywood. Our favorite part of the house was definitely downstairs- our kids had so much fun! Thanks again, we hope to be back one day.
The cabin felt like a cozy home away from home for our family. We have 3 children and they had so much fun in the game room. When we go back to Tennessee we will definitely be returning guests!
Why "Firefly Hollow Cabin"?
Named for the fireflies
Every summer, fireflies light up the woods around the cabin at dusk, and you can watch them from the back deck. It's one of our favorite things about the cabin. And for a couple of weeks each year, the Great Smoky Mountains put on one of nature's rarest shows: the synchronous fireflies, thousands of them flashing in unison. That's where Firefly Hollow Cabin gets its name.
Here in late spring? Viewing the synchronous fireflies in the national park is by lottery, so plan ahead. Read more in our Smokies guide.
